I'd like to start out by wishing everyone a safe and Happy Halloween! Trick-or-treating is so much fun! A few of my friends and I dressed as the Village People this weekend. We would love to hear what everyone else is wearing! Oh and by the way, no, Michael isn't the Frankenstein on the Harley!
Today at the studio we are busy playing catch up! I know it is Wednesday already, but it is my first day in the studio this week. Michael and Loretta still have not stopped raving about church! I was working another job Sunday morning, so I was unable to attend. It seems that I really missed out! I did get to attend the last time Abraham had visited Bay Pointe and it was amazing! Michael took a few pictures.

Father Fred Foundation
The session charge for Happy Apple Days was food donations to the Father Fred Foundation pantry. Thank you to the families who were very generous in giving. Michael delivered the boxes of food on Wednesday. He noticed that the shelves were almost empty. If you find some spare food items in your cupboards, or you are at the store buying candy for Halloween, please pick up some non-perishables and add them to your shopping cart. If you feel motivated to clean your closets, the Foundation can use some winter clothing. You may bring them to the studio and we will deliver them, or you may take them directly to Father Fred. The Father Fred Foundation is so good to Northern Michigan. Let’s help them make it even better.

Moving Day, Miss Heart of Michigan and Bay Pointe Celebrations
Hi from Loretta,
Today is moving day for Lindsay! Her current apartment is becoming a condo, so off she goes to a new apartment! At least they have beautiful weather for the job! Lindsay had so much fun moving today, that she is going to continue tomorrow. Poor Lindsay!
Michael will be in Muskegon this weekend for a Miss Michigan Executive Directors meeting. If you have not heard, Michael is the proud owner of the Miss Heart of Michigan scholarship pageant. Yes, it is a franchise that is purchased! The pageant will be held the weekend of February 15, 2008, at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa. Miss Heart of Michigan is a preliminary of Miss Michigan and Miss America pageants. Michael is enjoying his new venture.
Michael will return from Muskegon just in time to sing with the 40-voice gospel choir on Sunday morning at Bay Pointe Community Church. Bay Pointe is honored to host Abraham Laborie, Linda McCrary and many more, as musical guests. If you enjoy music, Bay Pointe is the place to be on Sunday morning. Abraham is referred to as “the most widely used session bassist of our time.” If you would like to hear a portion of Abraham's last musical visit to Bay Pointe, drop me an email at j701@freeway.net. I will forward the site to you. Don’t miss this Sunday! Services are at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM at our new location – 6880 Secor Road, at the corner of Secor and E. Long Lake Road. Michael and I are Team Leaders for the 9:00 AM greeting team, so will be glad to shake your hand or give you a hug when you arrive. Hope to see you there!

Home again!
I'm back! Michael and Loretta have not stopped raving about how much fun Happy Apple Days were. The children were such a delight, and they were really able to capture some great images. Some of our little ones came in looking for the bunnies. Some were busy munching away at our set (the apples were so delicious)! This year we implemented a new prop. We had a great John Deere tractor that some of the children didn't want to give up! Over all, Happy Apple Days were a success. We will keep you posted about our next special.
I, on the other hand, was busy "eating" my way through Yuma, Arizona and our visit to San Diego. I really had a wonderful trip. We took a day trip to San Diego, California, which was absolutely beautiful. Of course, we had to try all sorts of different food every day and every meal. I feel like I did a whole lot of eating the whole trip! From authentic Mexican to seafood and steaks, we had it all! I think I am still full! It is good to be home.
For now, it is back to work! We just put a few new updates on the website. We added a few new senior images and put in some of our sessions so everyone can look that over! Thanks again for checking up on us!

Its here! Its here!
Wow!! We made it! Our new website and blog! I'm so excited that you found us! I'm Lindsay. I work at Classic Gallery as an assistant, website designer and photographer. I am also going to be our official blogger (if that is the right word for it). It has been such a long road to get this new website design, but would you not agree that it is amazing? Right now, it's a little bare bones because we wanted so badly to get it up as soon as possible. Please keep checking for updates.
What's new around our studio? Well, we went to Boyne Mountain for the Professional Photographers of Michigan's fall seminar last week. We learned some really great new things to put into action at our studio. We had an awesome time with our fellow photographers as well. Oh, yeah, and I am recently engaged!! Big smiley face for that! :)
Currently, I am sitting at the Detroit Metro airport waiting for my flight to Phoenix, Arizona. My dad and I are traveling to visit my grandpa for the week, so unfortunately I will be missing our "Happy Apple Days". That is our fall children's special. It runs this Friday, October 19th and Saturday the 20th. I love the fall colors. It is such a great time to get a portrait of your children on the beautiful set that Michael and Loretta have created. Don't forget to call to set up your appointment!
Well, thanks so much for checking us out. Again, comments and messages are always welcome. We love to hear what others think! Updates to follow!!
